The strength of any club is their members, and by extension, their board, and due to expiring 2-year terms, we have some board member openings for the 2023-24 season. Being on the Columbus Spurs board is a great way to not only show support of Spurs, but to network, meet fellow Spurs supporters, get some free swag, and help drive one of the best supporters clubs in the whole Spurs community. We meet roughly 4 times a year as a board, and there is (on average 1-2 hours a month) time contributed, depending on the role. We have ’23-’24 openings for:

– Vice President (helps drive membership, visibility, organize events)
– Treasurer (tracks and reports on finances, memberships)
– Secretary (creates communications for website, email)
– Social Media (creates and monitors social posts across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)

If you are interested, please send an email to columbusspurs13@gmail.com along with letter of nomination (no more than 250 words why you think you’d make a good board member) and the position you’re applying for by June 6. Members will vote between June 9-25. The first match for the ’23-’24 season is August 12! Good luck, and all are welcome to apply.
