How did you come to be a Spurs supporter?

I am originally from Israel and have lived in Columbus, OH since 1974.

When I was 10 years old in the fall of 1960, my dad got a job in London representing the government of Israel.  Before we left for London, he said I needed to pick a team to support.  He was a staunch Manchester United fan and my older brother supported Liverpool.  I had him show me the current table (September 1960), and since we were heading for London, it was a no brainer.  Spurs were at the top and eventually won the double in May 1961. For almost three years I spent many Saturday afternoons at White Hart Lane. Since then, 61 years have gone by, and good or bad, win or lose I am still with them.

My favorite Spurs players now or ever?

Of all time is Jimmy Greaves, a goal scorer that is second to none – even Harry Kane. Another favorite of mine was Gazza. None of our current squad come close to those two, but if pressed, I would say Son.

How did you come to be a Spurs supporter?

2011(ish), started getting interested in the Premier League, everyone I worked with supported Arsenal so I naturally had to be a contrarian. Also loved the pace of Bale and Lennon in the FIFA video game. As I started learning more about the history and culture, I made a ton of personal connections to the club.

My favorite Spurs players now or ever?

All-time, Gareth Bale (pre-Madrid). Current, Sonny, he’s a threat from anywhere on the pitch and seems in no hurry to leave.

How did you come to be a Spurs supporter?

Basically 1982 when I was born I became a Spurs fan as my father was an avid fan. Always enjoyed the history and our club never bought success (though the 90’s were rough)

My favorite Spurs players now or ever?

All-time, Gareth Bale (pre-Madrid). Current, Sonny, he’s a threat from anywhere on the pitch and seems in no hurry to leave. Sonny absolutely current for not only his play on the pitch but how much he does off it.

I was always interested in EPL but never had a club to support. Then one of my friends, Luke Shomo, invited me to a Spurs watch party and I was hooked! Been rooting for Tottenham ever since 2017.

Heung-min Son because he wants to be in Tottenham and he has an extra gear I’ve never seen in a footballer before. Just brilliant to watch.

How did you come to be a Spurs supporter?

I never followed the EPL until I bought the FIFA 2013 video game. I needed a team to play with and invest in and Tottenham was my choice! I got really invested with the team and have been following them since.

Favorite Spurs players now or ever?

Son is the obvious choice, but Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is quickly flying up my list. Just such a professional and really wants to work for the team. Past player would be peak Danny Rose. Just a fun player to watch for me.

How did you come to be a Spurs supporter?
Started watching English soccer as a young kid in Northwest Ohio, where we would get the CBC broadcasts of one game a weekend. Spurs had flair. To dare is to do, right? Stuck with me.
